House of São João
House of S. João (127022/AL) or Reymão is a manor house that dates back to the 18th century.
It is one of the most noble estates in the parish of Santa Marta de Portuzelo.
It is 3 km from the historic city of Viana do Castelo and close to the mouth of the Lima River.
The typical construction of the area creates a pleasant temperature throughout the year.
Furnished in a traditional Portuguese style, it has several rooms that maintain the elegance of its more than 250 years of history, while offering the amenities of today.
Surrounded by vineyards, fruit trees and grassland, it is ideal for long and relaxing walks.
The pool, located in front of the house, is surrounded by a large lawn.

The Atlantic coast of Minho has excellent beaches. The beaches of Afife, Carreço and Cabedelo are about a 15-minute drive away.
Peneda-Gerês National Park with 72,000 hectares that encompass territories from the municipalities of Arcos de Valdevez to Terras do Bouro.
Sports
Ponte de Lima Golf (20 km) is a true paradise for golfers.
The Viana do Castelo Marina features a Sailing Club, where sailing and windsurfing are practiced.
You can go canoeing in the natural lagoons of Serra d`Arga. There are several organizations to support professionals or amateurs.

-One of the most famous restaurants in the area, “o Camelo” the Camel – specializing in traditional Portuguese cuisine – is less than 100 meters away.
